Chocolate mouse
I made some chocolate mouse to be to incorporate some amount of how I could use this in different dishes like a cake for example. I first got 3 bars of sea salt dark chocolate and about 1 1/4 cups of cold water. I also put ice over the water to keep the water cool.
You can see in the picture above that I chopped up about 340 grams of dark chocolate to be then melted and mixed with the water that I boiled over medium heat on an electric stove top.
The above picture shows the finished product of the chocolate mouse that did not turn out the way I wanted it to. I melted the chocolate in the microwave for about a minute or so to let it melt. The chemical change that happened during the process of trying to make a chocolate mouse was that it was form some separation between the water and chocolate to put these two things together. The flavor was not the greatest so it tasted very bland meaning that it wasn't what expected to get out of making it.
If I were to do this activity again I would probably substitute milk for water and add some sugar to it also some heavy whipping cream.
